A delicious and quick smoothie to help you absorb some healthy fats and greens. The fat in avocados is the “heart healthy” monounsaturated type called oleic acid, which speeds up metabolism and helps you to burn more calories.
Vanilla-Grapefruit Green Smoothie
1 cup romaine lettuce
1/2 cup fresh spinach (or 1/4 cup frozen)
1/2 small avocado
4 tbsp grapefruit juice
6 drops vanilla stevia (or to taste),
1 cup water
1/4 cup ice
A sprig of mint (optional)
Blend for one minute or until desired consistency.
