This is a simple way to use citrus which helps our body deal with stress, as well as cardamom which is a spice that can assist in weight loss.
Broiled Grapefruit

A sweet and savory breakfast that takes just 5 minutes!
Ingredients
- 1 large grapefruit (pink or ruby red)
- 1 tablespoon raw honey
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- pinch of ground cardamom
Instructions
- Turn the oven on broil.
- In a small bowl, combine the honey and vanilla. Cut the grapefruit in half and brush the honey mixture evenly over the halves then sprinkle with cardamom.
- Place the grapefruit on a sheet pan under the broiler until bubbling and slightly browned. Let cool slightly and serve warm.
